He contends that Initiative 159, section 9-which expands the first degree burglary statute to include all buildings, not just dwellings-violates the single subject rule of article II, section 19 of the Washington Constitution. He also contends that the jury's special verdict, finding that he was not armed during the burglary, is irreconcilably inconsistent with its general verdict finding him guilty of first degree burglary, rendering his conviction void.
